Express Inn Thomson

We had a great stay at the Thomson GA I-20 Cobbham Rd. Our room was beautiful full with lots of amenities. Everything looked brand new and the beds were really comfy! The staff was nice and helpful, and the concierge helped us book some attractions. It was nice and peaceful after all the Cobbham Rd noisiness.

It's a solid offering for anyone traveling through the area who needs a clean and affordable place to lay their head down for the night. The fridge was cold, the microwave worked, and there were no strange smells. I was traveling solo and appreciated that the gentleman at the desk set me up with a room right across from the office in a well-lit area. Ice machine was out of commission but the vending machines still worked.

Hotel Thomson GA is simply elegant! We felt like it was our home for five wonderful nights. The ambiance from the entry into the hotel, the lobby area, the room, the rooftop deck is so beautiful and clean. The staff at the front desk are so pleasant and helpful, especially some staff! Their afternoon "tea" was superb, and the location is perfecto!

Rooms were clean, customer service very helpful and the location is right off the I-20 (very convenient).

From the outside this place appears really bad. However I've stayed here at least 20 times while working in Augusta. The rest is exceptionally clean and I never had an issue with anyone. It is really cheap too about 90 bucks. Hot shower, clean. Bed, cable, desk to work on, refrigerator, microwave.

Stayed here with my wife & 2 teenage daughters. What a perfect place to stay!! Every member of staff we encountered was so helpful & friendly, every area of the hotel was clean, the bedrooms quite large & the beds very comfortable. The shuttle to Studios a big plus! We would definitely recommend staying at The Thomson GA!!

Really enjoyed our 3 night stay at The Thomson GA! The hotel was very clean, great service, room had nice modern design and was very comfortable! The place area was very nice, loved the fireplaces there and in the lobby and outside heaters and the trolley was a nice way to ride to the City Walk! I'd definitely stay there again.

The rooms are old and need some upgrading. But it's super clean. My peep hole was missing so you could look out or right in. I was alone so I stuffed a baby wipe in the hole. The door looked like it had been kicked in a few times. There is nothing near you but the highway and one gas station. This is a low budget motel. But the sheets were clean, bed was clean, firm mattress, good pillows, bathroom was clean. Everything was really clean and no bugs. I wouldn't stay here except just to sleep. It's a little sketchy of an area as a woman alone but in a pinch and for the right price it was perfect. The owners have a garden and I woke up and there was a chicken at my door, which was better than the kids next door kicking the wall all night but the owners can't control that.
